Tokyo – July 2026 – AB Circle, a global provider of smart card-based solutions for secure identification, announced a contribution of JPY 100,000 to the official relief fund established by the Kumamoto Prefectural Government on 30 July 2026. The contribution aims to support ongoing disaster relief operations and assist local communities affected by the recent earthquake in the region.

 

The monetary donation was directly transferred to the official disaster relief account set up by Kumamoto Prefecture under Governor Takashi Kimura and managed by the Health and Welfare Policy Division.

 

"Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to everyone affected by the earthquake in Kumamoto Prefecture," said Hiroyuki Shimada, General Manager at AB Circle Japan. "With our active operations in Japan and our strong relationships across the region, supporting local communities during challenging times is a duty we take to heart. We hope this contribution brings timely relief and aids in the swift recovery and rebuilding of the impacted areas."
